A Few Things That Win Are:
Video class. Keys drop off the keyboard and Mr. R just keeps on keepin' on with his lecture.
Shaolin Soccer. ZOMG. The most deeply strange movie ever. So very very odd. There's this Erikish girl with a deformed face who makes sweet buns and is a kung fu master, and there's this (very cute) guy who is also a kung fu master and they DISCO DANCE WTF. Dr. G is having us watch it in Biology 'cos we have extra classes.
ADRIAN BRODY EEEEEEEEEE. That is all.
Sean Bean as Macbeth and Tilda Swinton as Lady Macbeth. There's too much capslock in this entry already, but the sheer awesome of it all forces one short AAAAA.
The old Annie movie. Ohmigoodness ohmigoodness! And howsabouts Tim Curry. Glomp. And things going splodey while Daddy Warbucks just talks on the phone. And the line, "The Bolsheviks! Leapin' lizards!" And Anorexic!Mrs. Hannigan being played by Carol Burnett. And the song "Little Girls!" So much love.
This book I just bought called Marly's Ghost. Good young adult fiction! Can it really be true? Yes, but only because it's based on Dickens, haha. Fezziwig squee!
The golden time when it is always 1895. Oh, how I wish. You have no idea. Seriously, would I not have made a splendid nineteenth century Lord Byron style rake? That's my life's ambition, to be Algernon Moncrieff. I swear.
OSCAR. OSCAR. OSCAR. OSCAR, DAMNIT.
I really really really want to be a man born in 1870 or so. Let's see, that would make me 25 during the Golden Year. I would seriously be more Byronic than Byron. Then again, wrong era, as Lord Byron died in 1803. BUT SO WHAT?
Quote of the Day
"We have mature readers? Who are these people and how can they be eradicated?"
- Gabe. WINS.

DAVID! *tackle*
Oh my God. Did you make that avatar?
Well, Spound, Kyle and AWT are pretty much sure ins, so I'm not sure what that means.
The ball of evil pic wins. But seriously, folks, I can't see Kyle as Mushnik. That casting just doesn't make sense to me.
Spound as the Dentist? Nonono. Dan as the Dentist!
Well Spound can go 'head with that.
Once upon a time and long ago it stood for Junior Ghost. Now I go by K.H. which stands for Kat Holmes, I guess.
Call me Holmes. ;)
I just meant that that's Spound's choice.
something awesome just happened in my life:
I GOT A NEW COMPUTER
as a result i am currently viewing this blog on a 20 inch liquid crystal display.
i could go into technical details, but they would bore you
oh, and my "quote of pure brilliance" is:
"we have mature readers? who are these people and how can they be eradicated."
note: this is not a threat against any mature readers, i was making fun of myself and a couple other readers of this blog

Our Lennon film screens at the Toronto festival in 13 hours. Somebody needs to snap their fingers and make it be tomorrow afternoon so I can know how it went.
Mazel tov on the new 'puter. I would actually like to know the technical details. But then I'm a computer geek.
I apologize, but my finger snapping activated time machine is broken, and it's one of the few things that neither Gabe nor Ben nor David know how to fix.
Gabe, you win.
:::don't mind me... checking out new avatar:::
Ben has made some sort of auto-refreshing widget that's checking the page every nanosecond or something. Not that he's eager to know or anything.
Oh, no, Ben? Curious? Craving knowledge? Perish the thought.
NOT THAT I'M BITTER AT ALL ABOUT THE FACT THAT I WAS CHASING HIM AROUND TRYING TO GET HIM TO READ HOLMES ALL DAY.
:0X

OOOOH MEEE GAWSH CAST LIST!!
I think I agree with the first two and last statements of the blog posting, on a more relevant note.
And on a slightly less relevant note, I didn't know SP was releasing a Lennon movie? Are there multiple Lennon movies being released, because my friend told me of one and I'm curious if it's yours.
Oh and good luck with that.
Amazing how this post has more comments than the last, over the course of about 12 hours.
In all fairness I'm not releasing it. The film is being released by Lionsgate. I was (am?) the coordinating producer. It opens 9/15 in NY and LA, and then (presuming all goes well) will go "wide." Always tricky for a documentary, but things have been going well so far.
So is it the same one you heard about? Just curious. There's also an upcoming film called "Chapter 27" with Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto, which deals with Lennon's murder.
I hasted to add, lest it not be clear from my comment, that our project has nothing to do with the "Chapter 27" film...
My God, I leave you alone for five minutes and this happens.
David - I know that nasty post audition didn't-get-in feeling. It is icky. Keep your chin up.
Ben - Hush, you. Don't you dare say you don't know me well enough to know that I wouldn't chase you around if I didn't want you to read Holmes.
SP - Has the Lennon film been screened today yet? (I woke up so late that there's actually a substantial chance it has.)
It screened at 12.30 our time. Got a text message from my business partner David Leaf "big big SRO response... we r thrilled". Pictures already on the wires of the arrivals. Pretty exciting stuff for us!
<.shameless shill> tell your parents, friends etc. to go see it when it opens this Friday... <./shameless shill>
Further report from Toronto: Screening sold out and SRO. Standing ovation after. Yayness.
It makes you happy that the screening went well.
It makes me happy that you're saying "Yayness."
YOU WILL ALL TALK LIKE ME BY SENIOR YEAR.
Yayness is a superb word!
imagine this, youre stuck in a ditch at the bottom of a hill, and manure is rolling down on top of you, and you don't even know if you like it or not, you're pretty sure you hate it, and you're pretty sure you should hate it, but you're too bored and confused to comprehend how you're feeling.
that pretty much sums up how I feel right now
and to our creators and rulers, why?
The torment of tantalus: in greek mythology Tantalus was a man in the underworld forced to carry a huge rock up the hill, when he reached the top he found himself at the bottom again, and had to start over.
i really feel like him right now
i hope my depressed rant isn't annoying anyone
